Schedule of race: Saturday September 18th            Sunday September 19th

                             Registration begins 10:00               First race and competitors 

                             Competitors meeting 12:00             meeting (TBD)            

                             First race at 1:00

 

Overview: The event will be a series of a minimum of three races each day, with no throw outs. Six or more races shall constitute a series. There will be a gold fleet and a silver fleet. Coaches may determine which fleet their teams will sail in. A team will consist of one skipper, one crew and one alternate. It is our intention to get as many races in each day as possible. The latest start on Saturday will be at the discretion of the race committee. On Sunday the latest start will be 3:30 PM. Gold fleet will race first, then come in and exchange boats with their silver team mates.

 

Safety: All competitors will wear PFD’s. Commercial traffic has right of way; STAY CLEAR! Races may be abandoned due to commercial traffic.       

 

Courses: A race sheet will be provided at registration. Course instruction will be provided at the competitors meeting.

 

Fee: Entry fee is $45 per person. Checks should be made out to Stockton Sailing Club. This includes Lunch and dinner on Saturday, breakfast and lunch on Sunday, camping and a movie.

 

Eligibility: This regatta is open to all high school teams, including 8th graders.

 

Course Location: The starting are will be right in front of the Stockton Sailing Club. Start/finish line will be explained at competitors meeting.

 

Boats: Competitors must bring their own class legal CFJs and sails for the event..

 

Medical Release/Consent Form: The entry form and a parent consent/waiver of liability and medical release form must be completed for each competitor prior to competing. No competitor will be allowed on the water without these forms.
