Location:  The Stockton Sailing Club, 4980 Buckley Cove Way, Stockton, CA 95219, 209/951-5600. Racing will take place on the San Joaquin River in front of the Stockton Sailing Club facility.

 

Eligibility:  This regatta is open to High School Teams who are current members of the PCISA. Eligible schools may enter as many varsity and JV teams as they choose. JV teams may be given a separate start depending on total number of varsity and JV teams registered.

 

Entry Fee:  The entry fee is $35 per participant.  Checks should made payable to the Stockton Sailing Club.

 

Boats:  Each entered team is responsible for providing one class legal CFJ and one class legal set of sails (main

and jib) for each division sailed. A team consists of two divisions (A and B). THERE WILL BE NO

ROTATIONS IN THIS REGATTA. It is the intent to sail all divisions simultaneously.

 

Sailing instructions:  Will be available during regatta & the skippers meeting.

Meals:  The cost of entry includes three meals per participant: Saturday dinner; Sunday breakfast and lunch. Additional meals for non-participants will be available at a nominal cost.

 

Activities:  Saturday night after dinner there will be Bingo, Cards, and other activities.

 

Lodging: Camping will be available on the SSC grounds (each team must provide their own chaperones).   There are several motels/hotels near the Stockton Sailing Club (See attached list). Limited RV parking can be arranged.  Contact Susan McLain, SSC Facility Manager (209/951-5600) in advance for more information.

 

Conditions: Fall conditions in Stockton are variable and can be winter-like.  Sailors, coaches, and support personnel should be prepared for a wide range of weather and temperature conditions, and come properly dressed.  The racing venue is close to the dock making it easy to adjust to changing conditions.
