A short update. Watermaker continues to work well with UV filter disconnected from power source.
As for the B&G autohelm, we have pretty much verified no signal from the sensor (flux gate compass). We have checked connections and reconnected. We are resigned to hand steering to the Azores, but have a Tech lined up to work on it there. He has access to sensors plus experience with units.
