Finalment just passed the Equator at 00.00.000 S/N and 27.59 W at 08:15 UTC/GMT and 07:15 local time. We have been on motor and main up and till now, however, we now have both the main and jib out and our heading currently is 19 magnetic and straight for the Azores. Estimated time to arrive is now May 1st if we 8 nm SOG (average over ground). The winds are still a little light and our current SOG is 6.7 - 7.7 nm and we have 2,320 nm to go. Our TWS is 7.5 - 8.5 nm (thru water speed).
