Finalmente continues to motorsail N.E. in very light winds. I guess this is why the are called the doldrums.
Our noon position was o deg 56" S -29deg 18" W. (Weds. 4/18/07) We expect to cross tomorrow morning.
Yesterday afternoon Ni stopped the boat and we all went for a swim. The water was 31 deg C and was like swimming in a warm salty bath. It was crystal clear but the bottom was 5000 meters (16'000 ft) down, making it hard to see. Just wierd feeling. We've got pictures that are only slightly X rated. You do know about shrinkage don't you.
Speaking of X rated, even though Finalmente has two showers we all bathe on the transom and then usually go forward to air dry on the transom. Sorry, no pictures.
Many thanks to Jim Hachman for seeing that our mail gets to everyone.
Alls well but slow.
