Richard here are the answers:
Owner Annibale "Ni" Orsi from Stockton CA now living in Santa Margherita Ligure Italy
Crew: Ray Hawkins (Modesto), Randy Sparks Santa Cruz) & Roberto Luz Teixeira (Sao Paulo, Brazil)
Name for Boat: Finalmente
Type of Boat: Dolphin 460 catamaran, built in Aracaju, Brazil
Hailing Port: Stockton, CA
Finalmente is a new 46' dagger board fast catamaran fully loaded with the comforts of home. She will stay in the Italian waters for the next two years. We left Salvador, Brazil on April 2nd for Aracaju, Brazil to add the air-conditioners and a few other things. We left Aracaju on April 11th for Recife to top off with 900 lt of fuel. Water is not a problem because we can make water at 72 lt per hour.
We left Recife on April 14th for Fernando de Noronha and island off the coast of Brazil. On April 16th we left the island for the Azores. We will stay in the Azores for a couple of days and pick up a crew member, Urban Gomes from Angels Camp.
At 23:30 UTC on the 17th we are at 1.48 S and 30.34 W with a heading of 72m. In about 24 hours we will turn to 0m and go straight to the Azores.
If you wish anymore information please let me know. I know that all of our sailing friends who all read Latitude will appreciate your writing about our venture. We will be stopping at the Equator 00.00.000 and 38.00.000 W to open a bottle of Champagne and take a little swim.
Ciao,
