Jr the mystery is solved. The salt water that was coming in is coming from the sink drain thruhull in the owners head. The plastic nut is stripped. The thruhull is loose because when it was installed it was tightened too much and when these types of thruhulls are tightened to much they strip. As of now we cannot fixed the leak until we get to the Azores. I wish to make a very important suggestion. Every boat that leaves the yard should be given a tube of 5200 sealant and one thruhull of each size. If you do not wish to include it in the price of the boat it should at lease be an option for the new owners. Any thing we do to make it easier on the buyer the happier the buys will be and the word will spread.
It is now 16:00 UTC/GMT and we will pull anchor in 30 minutes for the Azores. We will monitor the water coming in and hope to keep it under control until the Azores. I am going to ask Urban to bring different sizes to me when he comes. The sizes I will ask for is from 1" up through 2" and all sizes in between. If you can give me the exact size of that through thruhull, please do it soon.
Bye for now.
