*All non SSC members must join the club as a short term Youth Member for insurance reasons.

Registration

Completed applications and fees will be accepted in the office after April 23, 2011 and will be processed in the order in which they are received. Class size(s) are limited and availability will be on a first come first served basis. We recommend that you return the Learn to Sail Application with the date(s) and class(s) selections as soon as possible. A confirmation card will be sent with notification of which week(s) you are enrolled.

Class availability will be on a first come first served basis.

Fees

Class fees must be paid in full and accompanied with completed application form to registration in the desired class(es). Incomplete applications will be returned. No partial payments will be accepted. SSC members may charge fees to their accounts. Please make checks payable to the Stockton Sailing Club. Note: Any returned checks will be charged an additional $25.00 fee. Visa and Mastercard also accepted.

Cancellations

Any cancellation less than ten days prior to class start date will result in forfeiture of your fees.

Participation Requirements

Young sailor needs to be 9 to 18 years old and weighing at least 60lb. and feel comfortable around the water. Sailors need to be dropped off on time, on the point by the cranes, and picked up immediately after their class. They should bring a snack and a generous amount of liquids which can be stored in the refrigerator. All participants must wear a properly fitting life jacket at all times on the docks and boats! If you do not own a life jacket, one can be provide for you! Bring and wear sun block, sun glasses with retaining strap and/or a hat and towel. Sailors will be getting wet! Shoes are required to be worn at all times on the docks! Water-socks are recommended.

All participants must behave in a respectful manner. This is an instructional program, to teach the fundamentals of sailing and is not an alternative to parental supervision. We reserve the right to dismiss any child, if they can not respect the basic rules of the club and/or the program. AND Parents there is a 10 m.p.h. speed limit on the property that must be obeyed!
